The end of the semester is fastly approaching, and i have never felt so satisfied with my current progress in my courses. I have 2 guaranteed A’s and 2 borderline A’s. With the time i have left, i’m going to give my all and hope to attain a 4.0, but Dean’s List (3.5) is always good, too. With all the time i had to spare not having a job, i was able to get more involved on campus, attend extra-credit opportunities, and basically put in 100% effort into my school work. Not that i wasn’t giving my all while having a job, but my 6-hour retail shift left me so physically drained that i wasn’t mentally equipped to get home and do 3+ hours of homework and studying. So, if you’re handling being a full-time student with a job on the side, i sincerely applaud you. I can do it, but realizing all the extra time i had to focus on my studies this semester really makes me appreciative that i have parents who will offer to support me financially while i work on my degree.
