1. Binging TV shows
Need to get this habit out of my system before the school year starts. Because I would never watch an entire season of Rick and Morty the night before a test. Not me. (Hopefully getting it over with these last weeks will prevent it, anyway.)
2. Fun reading
Once I get to campus, I don't have much time for light reading--mostly just textbooks and assignments. So I'm getting my entertainment reading out of the way this summer: The Glass Bead Game, Tender Buttons and An Army at Dawn
3. Family time
After working in Houston for the summer, my family came down to vacation, and I'll be spending my last week and a half in Lexington after a vacation. Time to catch up with my sister, my parents, and my close friends back home.
4. Starting a personal project
I've always wanted to make a video game, and now a friend and I have finally started to learn. We're going to try to finish the script before the school year. This will ensure we have a solid foundation of work, and have done enough to motivate us to continue when we get busy.
A new semester brings both excitement and disappointment, but I hope to start fresh by using these last few weeks to finish up everything I need to get started on the right note.
