The professor was talking about how she suggests we shouldn’t plan so much on having a social life out of school because the class would be really time demanding. It made me nervous, especially since it was only an elective and not part of my required coursework.
I decided on dropping the class, I felt that it was too time demanding and it would distract me from my actual major classes and my work schedule. The point of this blog is that, before this year I had never dropped a class and wasn’t planning on it. However things change, once you’re in the classroom it can take a twist and turn out to be something you don’t like or need.
Don’t worry about how it would look if you dropped a class, if you feel like it will affect your grades in your classes that are actually considered into your major then focus on those more. In the end you want to make sure your GPA is strong so if you feel like you are not going to be successful in the class, take it a different semester once you’re more prepared.
You can’t always expect everything to go your way. Take precaution in your school work and make sure you are still enjoying your college experience because it only happens once in a lifetime.
