College is always a good idea. College is good for 3 reasons: 1) You have the option to work in a career that you like. 2) A college degree usually opens more options to make more money. 3) You make new friends and great connections in college.
Having a degree in a field you like can open options for you. It can mean working in something that you love so much that you don’t even come to think of it as a job. In reality, that’s all someone really wants in life, to have a job they won’t hate and that they actually enjoy waking up to. When you go to college you have a better chance of just doing what you want because you can make good money doing it.
There are lots of surveys taken and studies done to prove that a college degree pays more than a regular waged job. Going to college and learning a course shows knowledge and dedication to employers. You can do more for that company than just the regular person. That’s why they may pay you more. And even though you shouldn’t solely base a decision on money, because it comes and goes, you should consider it a major factor while making decisions.
Lastly on my list, going to college is just a fun experience. If you can go, you should. You make great friends for life from different places all over the world. It opens a whole new world. It isn’t like high school at all, in my opinion, it’s way better. You have more people to be friends with and you make connections with some amazing professors.
College seems great huh? It is, but sometimes it’s a struggle to pay for college or even attend because of the things holding us back at home. For my next blog I will help you, and myself, by mentioning great ways to help pay for college.
