Director of Upperclassmen Mentorship
I am a sophomore at Brown University, majoring in Psychology and creating my own Independent Concentration in Deaf and Disability Studies. I am a SWAG to College Intern/Mentor/College Club Representative/Upperclassmen Mentor Manager, member of the All Ways Up Foundation and South Central Scholars, part of Brown’s Tae Kwon Do Team and Brown’s First Generation and Low Income community, and recipient of the Gates Millennium Scholarship. I love being a member of the SWAG, All Ways Up, South Central Scholars and Brown’s First Generation community because I firmly believe that every first generation, minority, and/or differently abled student should have access to higher education. After college, I plan to return to Brown for a 5th year to earn my Master in Public Affairs. I then plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Behavioral Analysis. I plan to use my knowledge of public affairs, psychology and behavioral analysis in a government setting so that I may advocate for the rights of minority and differently abled groups.
